How to Automate Crafting with the Assembling Machine and Auto Crafting Table

Auto Crafting Table

The Auto Crafting Table works like a regular crafting table but can be automated. Place it next to a chest or hopper, fill its grid with the recipe layout, and pipe in ingredients. It crafts continuously as long as inputs are available and it has power (if required).

Assembling Machine

The Assembling Machine handles more complex recipes, including ones that need fluids or multiple steps. It consumes EU and often requires a specific input order. Check its GUI for the recipe slots and fluid tank.

Building an Automation Line

A simple automated line looks like this:

1. Chest holds raw materials.

2. Item pipes or hoppers move them into the crafting machine.

3. Crafting machine produces components.

4. Output chest or storage unit collects finished items.

Use Block Breakers and Block Placers to automate block interactions, and Item Pipes to route items between machines. Keep power supplied via cables from a generator or battery box. Test each segment individually before chaining them together — a single misrouted pipe can jam the whole line.
