How to Get Meat from Mobs

Hunting for Meat

The mod adds meat drops from over twenty mobs beyond traditional cows and pigs. New meat sources include armadillos, bears, dolphins, goats, horses, parrots, snickers, and squids. Kill these mobs with any weapon to collect raw meat.

Cooking Meat

1. Collect raw meat from defeated mobs

2. Place raw meat into a furnace, smoker, or campfire

4. Retrieve cooked meat for eating or trading

Special Drops and Effects

Certain mobs provide unique ingredients with special properties:

• Cat eyes grant Night Vision when consumed
• Bat wings cause Blindness (useful for certain strategies)
• Allay wings provide Slow Falling for safe descents

Veggie Meat Alternative

If you prefer not to hunt, mooshrooms drop mushroom-based food that serves as a vegetarian meat substitute. Harvest these directly without cooking.

Using Meat

Cooked meat can be:

• Eaten for nutrition and saturation
• Used in recipes for stews and prepared dishes
• Traded with village butchers for emeralds and other items
