Tame Your First Hostile Mob

Finding the Right Taming Item

Not all mobs eat the same food. Open your Taming Guide (built into the mod menu) and search for the creature you want to adopt. The guide shows exactly which item or food that mob requires.

For hostile mobs like Zombies or Creepers, you'll typically need Monster Meat instead of regular food. Collect this from defeated hostile creatures or find it in dungeon chests.

Taming Process

1. Approach the mob you want to tame while holding its required taming item

2. Right-click the mob repeatedly until a taming progress bar appears above its head

3. Keep right-clicking until the bar fills completely — the mob is now yours

4. The tamed mob will stop attacking you and follow your commands

First Steps With Your Pet

Once tamed, use your Mob Behavior Controller to set how your pet acts:

• Follow: Stays close and fights alongside you
• Stay: Remains in one spot until you call it back
• Wander: Explores freely but won't attack

Store your new companion in a Mob Pocket so you can carry multiple pets safely without losing them.
