How to Use a Blueprint Analyzer to Recover Weapon Blueprints

Setting Up the Analyzer

A Blueprint Analyzer requires two adjacent blocks to function. Place it carefully in your workshop, leaving space on one side. This station breaks down firearms and Research Data into useful fragments.

What to Analyze

You can feed the analyzer recovered guns found in loot or Research Data items (Notes, Reports, and Dossiers). Each has a chance to produce blueprint fragments matching specific weapon tiers. Higher-tier Research Data targets more advanced weapons.

Collecting Fragments

Analyzing items produces fragments gradually. Collect matching sets of fragments from the same weapon to reconstruct its full blueprint. This is especially useful when you find incomplete weapon blueprints or want to unlock guns without spending Scrap.

Combining Fragments

Once you have a complete set of fragments for a weapon, combine them in your crafting grid or at a Workbench to create the full blueprint. Right-click the finished blueprint to permanently learn the recipe.
