Troubleshoot a Turret That Won't Fire

Check the Status Light

Look at the colored indicator on the turret's side:

• Dark red: No gun equipped—mount a weapon by right-clicking with a gun in hand
• Bright red: Out of ammo—refill the chest underneath or drop bullets nearby

Verify Ammo Supply

If the light is yellow but stays that way too long:

1. Check the chest beneath the turret for the correct ammunition type

2. Ensure the ammo matches the gun's caliber

3. Try dropping bullets directly next to the turret as an alternative supply method

Confirm Gun Mounting

If the turret has a dark red light:

1. Hold a loaded TACZ gun in your hand

2. Right-click the turret to mount it

3. Watch for the light to change to green (ready) or yellow (reloading)

Reset if Needed

Retrieve the gun by right-clicking, then remount it fresh. Sometimes this clears minor glitches preventing the turret from operating normally.
