Enemy Tiers and Behavior Patterns

Six different NPC types spawn throughout the world, each with distinct AI behaviors and equipment. Low-level refugees move slowly and carry weak weapons, while high-level special forces use fast tactical movements and superior gear. Understanding enemy types helps you prepare appropriate responses.

Combat Strategy by Enemy Type

Against slow-moving refugees, use basic weapons and simple tactics—they're vulnerable to grenades and direct fire. For fast-moving special forces, maintain distance and use cover; their tactical AI makes them dangerous in close quarters. Mid-tier soldiers require balanced offense and defense.

Gear Matching and Preparation

Equip armor and weapons appropriate to the enemy tier you're facing. Don't engage elite units with basic gear—you'll be outgunned. Scout areas first to identify enemy types, then return with suitable equipment.

Tactical Positioning

Use terrain and structures for cover against armed enemies. High-level units are aggressive and accurate, so avoid open areas. Grenades and molotov cocktails work well against grouped enemies regardless of tier. Freeze mines slow tactical units, giving you the advantage you need to win engagements.
