Loot and Manage Ammunition from Defeated Enemies
Understand Enemy Drops
When you defeat soldiers and scavengers, they drop gunpowder and ammunition. The ammunition type matches the weapon they were carrying, so defeating a soldier with an assault rifle yields assault rifle rounds.
Prioritize High-Value Targets
Focus on eliminating enemies carrying weapons you use. This ensures you collect compatible ammunition for your arsenal. Patrol leaders and heavily armed soldiers typically carry more useful loot.
Collect Drops Efficiently
After combat, move through the battlefield and pick up all dropped items. Gunpowder is useful for crafting, while ammunition directly replenishes your magazines. Keep inventory space available during fights to maximize loot collection.
Organize Your Supplies
Store ammunition in a safe base or chest system organized by weapon type. This prevents confusion during future engagements and ensures you always know what ammunition you have available.
Plan Resupply Routes
If you're running low on ammunition, intentionally seek out patrols in areas where you can safely collect their drops. Use the /forcepatrol command to spawn a group near your base if you need emergency supplies, then eliminate them and gather their loot.
