Escape and Evade an Enemy Squad
Identify Escape Routes Early
Before engaging enemies, scout your surroundings for exits: doors, windows, water sources, or terrain changes. Know where you can break line of sight quickly.
Use Doors and Obstacles to Your Advantage
Enemies can open doors and gates, but this takes time. Run through a doorway and close it behind you to buy seconds. Use multiple doors in sequence to create distance. Water and steep terrain slow enemy pursuit.
Break Visual Contact
Once enemies lose sight of you, they cannot track your exact position. Round corners, enter buildings, or move behind tall obstacles. Travel perpendicular to your original direction to avoid predictable escape paths.
Silence Your Weapons
If you must shoot while retreating, use a silenced weapon to avoid attracting reinforcements. Unsuppressed fire will draw nearby patrols toward your location, trapping you between multiple groups.
Create Distance and Hide
Run to a safe location far from the patrol's last known position. Crouch and stay still to avoid detection. If you have time, gather supplies and prepare a defensive position for the next encounter.
