Choosing Your Operator

When you join a world, a character selection panel appears automatically. Browse the 28 available heroes and select one that matches your preferred playstyle. Each operator belongs to one of four roles: Assault for direct damage, Support for buffs and healing, Engineer for defense and zone control, or Recon for scouting and intel gathering.

Once selected, you'll access your character's loadout screen where you can equip tactical gear and customize talent selections. Your active abilities and specialized gadgets become available during combat. You can change your character anytime in Creative mode by clicking the character selection interface button. This system works across survival mode, PvP arenas, and cooperative boss battles.
