Power Up Your First Armor Suit

Get an Arc Reactor Running

Before you can move in any armor, you need power. Your suit won't function without an active Arc Reactor nearby.

Step 1: Craft a Tier 1 Arc Reactor

Use your Stark Computer to view the recipe. Gather the required materials and craft the reactor at a crafting table.

Step 2: Place the Reactor

Find a good location in your base and place the Arc Reactor down. It should activate automatically and begin powering nearby suits.

Step 3: Equip Your Armor

Once the reactor is active, put on pieces of your Mark 1 through Mark 5 armor. You'll see the suit-up animation play as each piece locks into place. You should now be able to move, jump, and use basic abilities.

Upgrade Later

When you're ready for heavier suits like the Igor or Mark 7, craft a Tier 2 Arc Reactor and place it down. The more powerful reactor will power advanced armor without draining as quickly. Keep your reactor in a safe, accessible location so you can always return to recharge your abilities.
