Using Tendrils in Battle

Press R to fire a tendril attack. This versatile ability pulls enemies closer for melee combat or launches you into the air for mobility and positioning. Use it to close gaps, escape danger, or group enemies together.

Wall Climbing and Movement

Press C to cling to walls and climb vertical surfaces. This lets you reach high ground, escape threats, or navigate terrain faster than normal climbing. Combined with tendril launches, you gain significant mobility advantages.

Apex Form

During intense combat, press K to trigger Apex Form—a powerful state that amplifies your symbiote's combat abilities. This is most effective when your bond is strong and stress is low.

Strain-Specific Advantages

Each strain excels differently: Predator hunts efficiently, Guardian blocks incoming damage, Shadow moves faster in darkness, Sculk detects enemies through walls, and Royal becomes the strongest but demands total control. Choose your strain based on your playstyle and adjust your tactics accordingly.
