Tree Tapping and Resource Collection

Harvesting Syrup and Rubber

Sylvan Soil Strata adds the ability to tap certain trees for valuable resources. By tapping logs from compatible tree species, you can collect fresh syrup and raw rubber. This mechanic encourages players to explore different forest biomes and identify which tree varieties yield which resources.

Tapping is a straightforward way to gather these materials without felling entire trees, making it useful for sustainable forestry. Different wood types may produce different yields, so experimenting across the mod's 14 new wood varieties—from Hevea to Mahogany—will help you find the most efficient tapping locations for your needs.
