Crafting and Equipping Your Radio

The handheld radio is your primary tool for voice communication. Craft it using the mod's recipe, then place it in your Curios slot for easiest access—the mod automatically detects radios there first, followed by your hotbar and inventory.

Configuring Your Frequency

Once equipped, press your frequency configuration keybind (default: C) to open the frequency menu. Enter or select a frequency number that matches your group's chosen channel. All players on the same frequency can hear each other's voice transmissions, regardless of distance.

Make sure everyone in your group uses the same frequency to communicate effectively. You can change frequencies at any time by pressing C again.

Transmitting Voice

When ready to speak, hold down your push-to-talk keybind (default: Grave/Backtick ` ``). Your voice will transmit to everyone on your current frequency. Release the key to stop transmitting. This works across any distance in your world.
