Customizing Block and Item Appearance

Understanding Summit's Texture Variants

Summit Resource Pack provides multiple texture variations for many blocks and items, creating visual variety and a more natural appearance. Some blocks have randomized textures that change slightly each time you place them.

Viewing and Selecting Textures

1. Open your Resource Packs menu in Settings

2. Locate Summit and click the folder icon to view its contents

3. Navigate to the assets folder, then minecraft → textures to browse available options

4. Most customization happens automatically—Summit randomly selects block variants as you place them

5. If you want consistent textures, look for configuration files (if provided) in Summit's main folder

Biome-Specific Appearance

Summit adjusts colors and textures based on your current biome. Grass, water, and foliage will appear different in deserts, forests, and snowy regions. This is intentional and enhances immersion.

Reverting Changes

If a specific block's appearance doesn't match your preference, disable Summit temporarily, take note of the block's default look, then re-enable Summit. Most players find the variations enhance gameplay rather than detract from it.
