Safely Remove Single Layers from Stacked Blocks

Using the Chisel Tool

The Chisel is your precision tool for deconstructing stacked layers and slabs one piece at a time. This is essential when you need to adjust heights or recover materials without destroying an entire column.

Removing Layers

To remove a single layer from a stack, sneak (hold Shift) and right-click the stacked block with your Chisel equipped. One layer will be removed and drop as an item. Repeat this process to remove additional layers. This works on any stackable layer, whether it's snow, dirt, concrete, or any other block the mod supports.

Splitting Double Slabs

If you've placed a double slab and need just one half back, sneak and right-click it with the Chisel. You'll receive a single slab, leaving the other half in place. This is useful for correcting mistakes or creating asymmetrical designs without wasting materials.

The Chisel makes experimentation safe—you can always undo placement decisions one layer at a time.
