How to Blacklist or Whitelist Biomes for a Specific Structure

Finding the biome options

In the Structurify config, open the entry for the structure you want to control. Alongside its enabled flag you'll find biome-related settings — typically a list of biomes the structure is allowed in, and a list of biomes it is banned from. Which one you use depends on whether you're carving out exceptions or restricting the structure to a small set of biomes.

Practical workflow

1. Decide the goal: do you want this structure everywhere except a few biomes (blacklist), or only in a few biomes (whitelist)?

2. Add the biome IDs to the matching list. Use the exact registry names shown in the config comments or in the mod's biome list.

3. Save and reload. New chunks will respect the new rules; old chunks won't change.

Tips

  • Blacklisting is safer when you only want to remove a structure from one or two problem biomes, like keeping mansions out of a specific forest variant.
  • Whitelisting is better for themed maps where a structure should feel rare and deliberate.
  • If a structure still appears, check whether it's part of a structure set that has its own biome rules overriding the individual entry.
  • Test in a fresh world with a small render distance before committing to a full map.
