How to Use Structory Addons and Customize Your World
Structory ships with separate addon packs that expand or alter its content. Because they are independent, you can enable only the ones you want, or remove them entirely without breaking the base mod. This makes it easy to tailor the experience to your playstyle or your modpack's theme.
Enabling and Disabling Addons
1. Open your mods folder and locate the Structory files. Addons are usually distributed as separate jars or as datapack-style folders.
2. To add content, drop the addon file in alongside the base mod. To remove it, simply delete that file — the base structures will still generate.
3. If an addon is datapack-based, place it in the datapacks folder of your world save instead, then run /reload.
Things to Know Before You Change Things
- Addons affect newly generated chunks only. Structures already in your world stay as they are, so test changes on a fresh world first.
- Removing an addon mid-game is safe for world stability, but any blocks or entities unique to it may become missing or inert.
- If you use Terralith, keep its compatibility in mind — some addons are tuned to work with Terralith biomes, so enabling both gives the richest results.
Back up your world before adding or removing packs, then explore a new area to confirm the changes took effect.
