How to Combine Structory with Terralith for Better Exploration

Structory is designed to be compatible with Terralith, and the two together create a much richer overworld. Terralith reshapes biomes and terrain; Structory fills those biomes with atmospheric builds. The result is that structures appear in places vanilla never generates, which makes exploration feel fresh.

Why They Work Together

  • Terralith adds many custom biomes. Structory's structures are tagged to spawn in a broad range of biome types, so they show up in those new environments instead of being limited to vanilla ones.
  • Because Terralith changes terrain height and shape, some Structory builds (towers, ruins) end up on cliffs, in valleys, or on islands where they look more dramatic.

Practical Setup Steps

1. Install both mods in your mods folder. No special compatibility patch is required.

2. Generate a new world — existing worlds will only get the new biome/terrain mix in unexplored chunks.

3. When exploring, prioritize Terralith's distinctive biomes (unusual forests, highlands, coastal formations) since Structory structures are less likely to have been seen there before.

Exploration Tips

  • Use a boat or elytra to cover Terralith's larger biomes efficiently.
  • Mark fire towers as waypoints — they're useful landmarks in unfamiliar terrain.
  • If you also use Structory addons, enable them before generating the world so their content spawns in the new Terralith biomes from the start.
