Operate the Astro Miner for Autonomous Resource Gathering

Deploy the Astro Miner

The Astro Miner is an autonomous machine that mines resources without player intervention. Place it on a planet or asteroid where you want resources extracted. Ensure it has power—connect it to your energy network or place solar panels nearby.

Configure Mining Parameters

The Astro Miner works best on resource-rich terrain like the Asteroid Belt or ore-dense planetary regions. It will automatically extract blocks and ores in its operational area. Monitor its fuel or energy levels to prevent shutdown.

Collect Mined Materials

Set up a collection system using hoppers or conveyors to gather mined blocks as the Astro Miner produces them. Place storage containers nearby to hold the output. Check periodically to prevent overflow and ensure the miner continues operating.

Optimize Placement

On Mars, position the Astro Miner away from dust storm paths if possible. On the Asteroid Belt, place it near dense asteroid clusters for maximum efficiency. Avoid placing it in active volcano zones on Venus or near extreme heat sources on Mercury, as these may damage the machine.
