Crafting Hammers

Hammers are available in wood, stone, iron, copper, gold, diamond, netherite, and steel variants. Craft them using the appropriate material and sticks. Hammers are heavy-duty tools designed for mining stone and ore blocks more efficiently than pickaxes, making them excellent for quarrying and excavation work.

Using Hammers Effectively

Hammers deal area-of-effect damage when mining, potentially breaking multiple blocks at once depending on the material tier. Steel and netherite hammers are most efficient for endgame mining. They're slower than pickaxes but cover more ground, ideal for clearing large stone sections.

Crafting and Fighting with Spears

Spears are long-reach weapons available across multiple material tiers. Craft them using the material and sticks. Spears deal increased damage and allow you to attack enemies from a distance, useful for combat in tight spaces or when fighting dangerous mobs.

Combine spears with hammers—use the hammer for mining and the spear for mob defense during cave exploration or mining expeditions.
