Build with Vertical Slabs and Framed Glass
Understanding Vertical Slabs
Vertical slabs are placed upright instead of horizontally, creating thin walls and clean architectural details. They work with concrete, wool, ore blocks, and mushroom blocks. Place them like regular slabs but they'll orient vertically, allowing you to build narrow pillars and decorative trim without taking up full block space.
Installing Framed Glass
Framed glass and glass panes come in variants for each wood type: oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, warped, and cherry. These blocks feature decorative wooden frames around transparent glass, perfect for windows and interior partitions. Craft them using glass and the corresponding wood type.
Design Tips
Combine vertical slabs with framed glass to create elegant window frames and wall details. Use vertical slabs to build thin support beams that don't obstruct sightlines. Layer different wood frame colors for visual variety in large builds. Vertical slabs also work well as baseboards and crown molding when paired with full blocks.
