Coupling and Decoupling Train Cars
Understanding Couplers
Couplers are specialized blocks that connect train cars together. They're essential for building multi-car trains and managing cargo transport. Each coupler has specific connection points.
Attaching Cars
1. Place a Coupler block on the front and rear of each train car you want to connect
2. Position cars so their couplers face each other
3. Push or pull the cars together until the couplers engage—you'll see a visual connection
4. The cars are now linked and will move as one unit
Decoupling
To separate cars, use the coupler's interaction mechanism. Some couplers can be toggled on and off; check the ponder screen for your specific coupler type. You can also manually push cars apart if they're not powered.
Tips
Always align couplers carefully before attempting connection. Misaligned couplers won't engage. Plan your train composition before building—longer trains require more power to accelerate and move uphill.
