Escaping When You're Spotted

Immediate Response

When the HUD turns red, a mob has confirmed your location. Your first instinct should be to run—mobs in this mod don't have perfect tracking like vanilla Minecraft. They will search the last place they saw you, not follow you perfectly across the map.

Escape strategy:

1. Sprint away from the mob in a direction that breaks line of sight

2. Put obstacles between you and the mob (trees, buildings, terrain)

3. Find a new hiding spot far from where you were spotted

4. Crouch and stay still once hidden

Choosing Your New Hiding Spot

Don't hide nearby—mobs will search the immediate area. Move to a completely different location: a distant cave, a thick forest, or a building far from the encounter. Tall grass or darkness in your new location will help reset your visibility status. Once the mob loses interest and returns to idle, the HUD will turn white again. Only then is it safe to resume normal movement.
