Using the Timer to Manage Potions and Effects in Combat

Time Your Re-Drinks

Because the countdown sits right on the icon, you can plan when to drink your next potion instead of guessing. Watch the readout and top up before it hits zero so you never fight with a gap in your buffs.

• For short burst effects, keep an eye on the seconds and re-apply as it gets low.
• For long effects measured in minutes, you can safely ignore them until the number drops into the final stretch.

Track Multiple Effects at Once

When several effects are active, each icon carries its own timer, so you can scan the row and instantly see which one is about to expire. This is useful for keeping a defensive effect and an offensive effect both running during a fight.

Pair the readout with your effect level display: if you see a lower tier ticking down while a higher tier is still active, you know the weaker one will lapse first and you can decide whether it is worth refreshing.

Plan Around Infinite Effects

Effects marked with ∞ never expire, so you can stop worrying about them and focus your potions and resources on the timed ones. This keeps your hotbar and inventory focused on the buffs that actually need upkeep.
