Fixing Overlapping or Missing Timers Caused by Other Mods

Identify the Conflicting Mod

If your timers are doubled up, flickering, or not showing at all, another HUD mod is likely drawing over the same spot. Two common culprits are GUI-tweaking mods that reposition or restyle status effects, and durability/HUD viewers that add their own timer overlays.

Resolve the Overlap

Work through these steps in order:

1. Check your other HUD mods first. Open each one's config and look for any option related to status effects, potion timers, or overlay positioning.

2. Disable the duplicate timer. If a durability viewer or similar mod has its own effect-timer overlay, turn that specific feature off so only one timer draws.

3. Toggle fluid/status effect handling. Some GUI mods have a setting that changes how status effects are rendered. Turning that off usually lets this mod's timer show cleanly.

4. Reload or restart. After changing configs, return to the game (or restart) so the HUD redraws.

5. Re-test with a potion. Drink or apply a short effect and confirm a single, readable countdown appears.

If timers are still missing entirely, temporarily disable other HUD mods one at a time to isolate which one is suppressing the overlay, then re-enable them with the conflicting feature turned off.
