Restore Default GUI if Starry Pack Causes Issues
Disabling the Resource Pack
If the Starry GUI and Hotbar pack causes visual glitches or you want to temporarily disable it, open your Resource Packs menu in Settings. Find the pack in the active list and click the arrow to move it to the inactive section.
Removing the Pack Completely
To fully remove the pack, navigate to .minecraft/resourcepacks/ and delete the Starry GUI and Hotbar folder or .zip file. Restart Minecraft to ensure the default GUI textures reload.
Troubleshooting Before Removal
Before deleting, try these steps:
- Reload packs: Press F3 + T (or use Settings > Resource Packs > Reload)
- Check pack order: Ensure no conflicting packs are loaded above Starry GUI
- Verify file integrity: Re-download the pack if it may be corrupted
Once removed or disabled, your inventory, menus, and hotbar will return to Minecraft's standard appearance. You can reinstall the pack anytime if you decide you want the starry aesthetic back.
