Make the Starry GUI Work With Other Resource Packs

Understanding Pack Compatibility

The Starry GUI and Hotbar pack modifies GUI textures and hotbar elements. To use it alongside other packs, you need to manage load order carefully. Packs loaded later override earlier ones.

Setting Up Pack Priority

In your Resource Packs menu, arrange packs so that Starry GUI and Hotbar appears above other packs you want to keep. This ensures the starry textures take priority for GUI elements while allowing other packs to handle blocks, items, and mobs.

If another pack also modifies GUIs, you may experience conflicts. In this case, you have two options:

1. Choose one GUI pack — Use either Starry GUI or the other pack, not both

2. Merge the packs — Extract both packs and manually combine their texture files, keeping the starry GUI textures and merging non-conflicting assets

Testing Compatibility

After arranging your packs, open various menus (inventory, crafting table, furnace) to verify the starry aesthetic appears correctly. If textures look wrong or don't match, adjust pack order or remove conflicting packs.
