Adjust Hotbar Visibility and Star Density

Locating Hotbar Texture Files

The hotbar appearance is controlled by textures in the resource pack. Extract the Starry GUI and Hotbar pack and navigate to assets/minecraft/textures/gui/. Look for files related to the hotbar, typically named widgets.png or similar container files.

Modifying Star Placement

Open the hotbar texture in an image editor. The stars are painted directly onto the background. You can:

• Remove stars: Use the eraser or clone tool to delete star sprites
• Add stars: Paint additional stars using a small brush and white or light purple color
• Adjust opacity: Make stars more or less transparent by reducing the alpha channel

Changing Hotbar Transparency

If you want the hotbar background more or less visible, adjust the overall opacity of the texture layer. A lower opacity makes the hotbar blend more with your game world behind it.

Saving and Testing

Save your edited texture file, then reload resource packs in-game (F3 + T). Your hotbar will now display your custom star density and visibility settings.
