Extinguish a Large Wildfire Quickly

Use Console Commands

For large, out-of-control fires, the fastest solution is the extinguish command:

`

/wildfire extinguish <radius> [x y z]

`

Specify a radius (in blocks) and the center coordinates. All fires within that radius will be put out instantly. If you omit coordinates, it targets your current location.

Manual Firefighting

For smaller fires or if you prefer hands-on control:

  • Fire extinguishers: Spray them at the fire's base and edges. They work up to six blocks away and are most effective against active flames.
  • Splash water bottles: Throw these at burning blocks to extinguish them quickly. Useful for spot-treating embers before they spread.
  • Water placement: Create flowing water channels through the fire zone. Water stops fire from spreading and gradually extinguishes burning blocks.

For massive fires with tall smoke columns (Level 3–4), combine methods: use water to create barriers, then extinguish remaining flames with your tools.
