Set Up a Shop Display and Configure Your First Trade

Placing and Linking Your Shop

Craft a shop display block (Display Case, Trader's Crate, Chain Hook, Magic Rug, Shelves, or Windowsill) and place it in your desired location. The shop automatically links to you as the owner when placed.

Adding Items and Setting Prices

Right-click your shop display to open its menu. Place the item you want to sell in the display slot—this does NOT consume the item from your inventory. In the price field, add the payment item (emeralds, coins, or other currency your server uses) and specify the quantity required.

You can set up multiple trades on larger displays. The item shown in the display is purely visual; your actual inventory stock is managed separately through the shop's inventory management system.

Customizing Appearance

If your shop display has wood, you can change its wood type to match your building aesthetic. For Display Cases, you can dye the cushion inside using dyes or wool blocks to add color coordination to your shop.

Once configured, players can right-click the display to purchase items. Payment is automatically deducted from their inventory.
