How to Find and Defeat Desert Spiders

Locating Desert Spiders

Desert Spiders spawn naturally in desert biomes. Search sandy areas during the day and night—they're not time-restricted. Look for them wandering across dunes and near desert structures. They blend in with their surroundings, so scan carefully.

Combat Strategy

Desert Spiders shoot sharp spines when defeated, so don't engage them in confined spaces where projectiles can trap you. Fight in open desert terrain where you have room to dodge.

Before the fight: Bring a shield or wear armor with good projectile protection.

During combat: Attack from range with a bow if possible, or close in quickly with a sword to minimize the time they spend firing spines. Stay mobile and circle-strafe to avoid incoming projectiles.

After defeating them: Collect the spines they drop. These are valuable crafting materials used to create weapons and decorative items. Store them safely for later use in your base.
