How to Find and Mine Every Ore Type in Spelunkery

Spelunkery's whole point is that ores now spawn inside stone variants, so the first thing to understand is that you are not looking for a single "diamond ore" block anymore. You are looking for Andesite Diamond Ore, Calcite Redstone Ore, and similar stone-specific versions.

What changes underground

Each vanilla stone type (andesite, calcite, and so on) can host its own ore variant. This means a vein you would normally ignore because it is "just andesite" may actually be hiding coal, copper, iron, gold, redstone, lapis, diamond, emerald, jade, lead, silver, or zinc. Scan the walls of every tunnel, not just the obvious grey stone.

Practical mining routine

1. Branch mine as usual, but stop and inspect any andesite or calcite patch you pass.

2. Bring a pickaxe with good durability — you will be breaking more stone than before because ore is spread across variants.

3. Watch for pebbles (Basalt Pebble, Blackstone Pebble) lying on the ground; they signal nearby stone types and help you orient.

4. When you find a vein, mine the whole cluster — variants often generate together.

Because ore is now distributed across multiple stone types, expect to cover more ground per ingot. Patience and thorough wall-checking beat speed here.
