Cast the Devourer summon spell to bring the flying swarm into your world. This magical construct automatically digs tunnels, mines blocks, and clears large areas. To increase its efficiency, feed metal ingots directly to the swarm—more ingots mean faster digging and the ability to break harder blocks like obsidian and deepslate.

Direct the Swarm

The Devourer follows you and works in the direction you're facing. Lead it toward areas you want cleared—it excels at tunnel mining, tree farming, and large-scale excavation. The swarm will collect blocks and drop them nearby for you to gather.

Optimize Your Setup

Keep a supply of metal ingots in your inventory or Reagent Pouch to maintain the swarm's power. For extended mining operations, consider summoning multiple Devourers if your spell slots allow. The swarm works best in open areas; confined spaces may reduce its effectiveness.
