Step-by-Step Filling

1. Craft or find a composter block

2. Place it in your world

3. Gather organic items: seeds, crops, leaves, or other compostable materials

4. Right-click the composter and drop items into it one at a time

5. Watch the internal mulch layer visibly rise with each addition

6. Continue until the composter reaches full capacity—the top layer will show completion

Tracking Compost Progress

Unlike vanilla composters where progress is invisible, this mod lets you see exactly how full your composter is by observing the 3D mulch height. This is especially useful when building composters in decorative farms or sorting systems, since you can monitor fill levels from a distance.

When the composter reaches maximum capacity, it will produce bone meal, which you can collect by right-clicking the full composter.
