Create Your First Faction

Opening the Faction Menu

Press K to open the main faction interface. This is your control hub for all faction management, diplomacy, and territory operations.

Setting Up Your Faction

1. Select the option to create a new faction

2. Enter a faction name — this is the full name other players will see

3. Choose an acronym (usually 3–4 letters) that will appear on territory markers and in chat

4. Pick a team color to visually distinguish your territory on maps and in-game displays

5. Confirm creation

Your faction now exists, but it's just you. To grow, invite other players by opening the faction menu and selecting member management. Share your faction name or acronym with friends so they can join.

Next Steps

Once you have members, start claiming chunks near your base to protect your builds. Each faction tier allows more claimed territory, so recruiting and ranking up unlocks expansion. Your faction color will display on compatible map mods like Xaero's Maps and JourneyMap, making borders visible to all players.
