How to Enter Your First Dream Dimension

Starting Your Journey

To begin exploring the Somnium Threshold, you need to trigger the mod's dream sequences. Place a bed anywhere in the Overworld using standard crafting or by finding one in a village or structure.

Entering the Dream

1. Approach your placed bed and interact with it to sleep

2. Instead of waking in the morning, you'll spawn inside the first liminal dream dimension

3. You'll find yourself in an eerie, empty room or corridor

4. Your inventory and items remain with you

First Steps

Once you wake in the dream dimension, take time to orient yourself. Look around for doorways, hallways, or passages that lead forward. The environment will feel deliberately empty and unsettling—this is intentional. Listen carefully to ambient sounds, as they often indicate safe paths or warn of danger ahead. Move cautiously through the space and search for the exit that leads to the next sequence. Do not attempt to sleep again until you've progressed through the current dimension.
