Maximize Performance While Keeping Quality
Balance Settings
Soartex Fantastik is optimized for performance, but you can fine-tune further depending on your hardware.
Performance Adjustments
1. Reduce render distance if you're getting low FPS. Start at 12 chunks and increase until performance drops.
2. Lower graphics settings: Set clouds to "Fast," particles to minimum, and smooth lighting to "Maximum" (paradoxically faster than off).
3. Disable connected textures if your computer struggles. This removes seamless block connections but improves frame rate.
4. Use a lighter shader or none at all. Complementary Unbound or Nostalgia shaders are lighter than SEUS.
5. Allocate more RAM to Minecraft (3–4 GB minimum recommended) to prevent stuttering.
Quality Retention
The pack's clean art style remains sharp even at lower settings. The 3D block depth and bushy leaves are baked into textures, so they won't disappear—only shader effects like shadows and reflections scale back.
