Enable PBR Textures for Realistic Lighting

What PBR Does

Physically Based Rendering (PBR) textures in Soartex Fantastik make light interact with blocks realistically. Surfaces reflect and absorb light based on their material properties—metal gleams, stone absorbs light, water shimmers. This only works with compatible shaders.

Setup Steps

1. Install a shader pack that supports PBR. Common choices include SEUS, Complementary, or BSL shaders. Add it to your shader folder.

2. Launch Minecraft with Soartex Fantastik active and your shader enabled.

3. Open shader settings (usually Shift + O in-game) and look for PBR or "Specular" options.

4. Enable PBR mapping if there's a toggle. Some shaders activate it automatically when they detect PBR-ready packs.

5. Adjust brightness and contrast in shader settings to suit your preference—PBR can make nights darker and days brighter.

Troubleshooting

If blocks look flat or overly shiny, your shader may not fully support PBR, or PBR is disabled in shader options. Check the shader's documentation for compatibility notes.
