Troubleshoot crops not growing on Snad

Check Power and Placement

If your crops aren't growing faster, verify the Snad blocks are receiving redstone power.

Diagnosis steps:

1. Confirm you placed actual Snad blocks (crafted from two sand), not regular sand.

2. Check that redstone wire or components are adjacent to or beneath the Snad blocks.

3. Use a redstone comparator or observer to confirm the signal is reaching the blocks.

4. Ensure crops are planted *on top* of the Snad, not beside it.

Signal and Configuration

Redstone pulses must actively reach the Snad blocks:

  • Redstone dust must be powered (glowing red)
  • If using repeaters, verify they're oriented correctly and powered
  • A redstone clock should be running and connected to your farm
  • Check your mod configuration file—growth speed and pulse requirements may be customized on your server or world

If everything appears correct but growth is still slow, your redstone clock may not be sending pulses frequently enough. Reduce repeater delays to increase pulse frequency.
