Create a compact redstone clock for Snad farms
Building a Simple Repeater Clock
A redstone clock sends continuous pulses to power your
Snad blocks. This is the easiest method for steady crop growth.
Steps:
1. Place four redstone repeaters in a square loop on the ground.
2. Set each repeater to the same delay (start with medium delays like 2 or 3 ticks).
3. Place redstone dust connecting all four repeaters in a closed circuit.
4. Run redstone wire from the loop to your Snad blocks.
5. The clock will begin pulsing automatically once placed.
Adjusting Clock Speed
The delay setting on each repeater controls pulse frequency:
- Lower delays = faster pulses = faster crop growth (but more lag)
- Higher delays = slower pulses = less lag but slower growth
Experiment with different delay values to find the sweet spot for your farm size. A clock with all repeaters set to 2 ticks will send pulses very rapidly; try 3–4 ticks for a balanced approach. You can also use observers and pistons for alternative clock designs if you prefer.
