Why Servers Need This Mod

Multiplayer servers with several players generate chunks constantly. When autosave triggers, the server saves dozens or hundreds of chunks simultaneously, causing everyone to lag. Smooth Chunk Save Mod prevents this by distributing saves over time.

Server-Side Installation

This mod must be installed on the server itself, not just on client machines. Add it to your server's mods folder and restart. Once active, chunk saving becomes continuous rather than periodic.
