Understand Soulbound Protection

The soulbound upgrade prevents your backpack and its contents from being lost when you die. Instead of dropping on the ground, your items respawn with you.

Install Soulbound

1. Craft or obtain a soulbound upgrade

2. Open your backpack's upgrade menu

3. Place the soulbound upgrade in any available upgrade slot

4. The upgrade is now active — your backpack is protected

What Gets Saved

• Your entire backpack and all items inside
• Any upgrades installed in the backpack
• Liquids and energy stored in the bag

Important Notes

• Soulbound only protects the backpack itself — items in your regular inventory are not protected
• The upgrade works whether your backpack is worn or placed down
• You can combine soulbound with other upgrades like magnet or auto-feeder for a fully protected, self-sufficient setup
• Higher-tier backpacks have more upgrade slots, making it easier to run soulbound alongside other utilities

This upgrade is invaluable for dangerous expeditions into the Nether or End.
