Creating Gradual Inclines

Small Stairs Updated adds stair blocks that are significantly shorter than vanilla stairs, allowing you to build gentler, more gradual staircases. While standard Minecraft stairs rise three-fourths of a block per step, these small stairs rise only one-third of a block, requiring three steps to climb the height of one vanilla stair.

This makes them ideal for creating smooth transitions and less steep climbing paths. The mod provides small stair variants across multiple materials including wood and stone, matching the aesthetic of your builds while improving navigation. Simply place them in sequence to construct staircases with a shallower angle than traditional stairs offer.
