How to Install the Small Shield & Totem Resource Pack

Getting the Pack Ready

Before you can use the pack, you need to have it downloaded as a .zip file. Do not unzip it — Minecraft reads resource packs directly from the compressed archive.

Applying It In-Game

1. Launch Minecraft and go to Options from the main menu.

2. Select Resource Packs.

3. Click Open Pack Folder — this opens the resourcepacks folder in your Minecraft directory.

4. Drag or copy the .zip file into that folder.

5. Return to the game and click the arrow next to the pack in the left column to move it to the Selected side.

6. Click Done to apply.

Making Sure It Works

Hold a shield or totem and check your first-person view — the model should look noticeably smaller than vanilla. If nothing changed, confirm the pack is above any other pack that also edits shield or totem textures, since the topmost pack wins conflicts. You can reorder packs by dragging them in the list. If you use a mod loader with its own resource pack screen, the same drag-and-drop ordering applies there.
