How to Combine the Small Shield & Totem Pack With Other Resource Packs

Understanding Pack Order

Minecraft loads resource packs from top to bottom in the Selected list. When two packs change the same texture, the one higher in the list overrides the lower one. This pack only touches shield and totem textures, so it plays nicely with most other packs — but you still need to order things correctly.

Recommended Setup

1. Open Options → Resource Packs.

2. Put your main texture pack (the one that changes blocks, GUI, etc.) at the bottom.

3. Place the Small Shield & Totem pack above it so its smaller shield and totem models take priority.

4. If another pack also resizes shields or totems, decide which look you prefer and place that one on top.

When Conflicts Appear

If your shield suddenly looks vanilla-sized again, another pack higher in the list is overriding it. Drag the Small Shield & Totem pack upward until the smaller model returns. Because the pack keeps the standard 16×16 resolution, it will not clash visually with packs that use the same resolution, and it does not change any item behavior — only the texture dimensions.
