Small Horse Stables generate naturally in plains and forest biomes. Because they are a surface structure, you can usually spot one by simply exploring on foot or on horseback during the day. They are small buildings, so they blend in more than a village would — keep an eye out for a fenced pen and a roofed shelter rather than a large landmark.

Efficient Searching Tips

• Travel in straight lines across plains first; they have the least terrain blocking your view.
• In forests, look for clearings — stables need flat-ish ground and rarely generate deep inside dense tree cover.
• Bring a bed and set your spawn near a biome border so you can sweep both biome types in one trip.
• If you have a map mod or a structure-finding tool, filter for the stable rather than wandering blindly.

What to Expect When You Arrive

Inside you will find two horses already penned, plus a chest containing starter supplies such as a saddle and treats. There is also a secret chest hidden somewhere in the build, so do not leave after looting the obvious one. Check under floors, behind walls, and beneath the roof before moving on. Once you have emptied both chests, you can either tame the horses on the spot or lead them home.
