Build a Double Sliding Door Entrance
Plan Your Doorway
Design a doorway that is two blocks wide. This allows you to place two sliding doors side by side, creating a symmetrical, modern entrance.
Craft Two Matching Doors
Create two basic sliding doors using the standard recipe (four stripped logs and one iron block per door). Use the Stonecutter to customize both doors with the same style and wood type for a cohesive look.
Position the Doors
Place the first door in the left block of your two-block-wide doorway. Place the second door in the right block. Ensure both adjacent wall blocks (where each door will slide) are clear.
Test the Mechanism
Interact with each door to verify they slide smoothly into their respective wall spaces without obstruction. Both doors should open and close independently, creating a clean double-door effect.
Frame Your Entrance
Add decorative blocks around your double doors—such as wood frames, stone, or stairs—to create a polished entrance that complements your building style.
