How to Craft and Obtain the Blades from the SlashBlade Japanese Addon Pack

The addon pack adds several named katana-style blades on top of the base SlashBlade mod, and each one is gated behind its own crafting path. Before you can make any of them you need the core SlashBlade progression finished, since the addon blades build on the base mod's materials and crafting station.

Getting the base materials first

Start by producing the base mod's blade components and its crafting table equivalent. The addon blades generally require a base blade plus addon-specific materials such as special ingots, gems, or boss drops. Check JEI or REI for the exact recipe of the specific blade you want, because each addon sword has its own ingredient list rather than one shared recipe.

Crafting an addon blade

1. Open the SlashBlade crafting interface with the required base blade in place.

2. Insert the addon-specific materials shown in JEI for that named sword.

3. Confirm the craft and pick up the finished blade.

If a recipe will not complete, the usual cause is a missing prerequisite blade or a material you have not unlocked yet. Some blades are only obtainable as drops from specific mobs or bosses rather than by crafting, so check the tooltip and JEI entry before farming materials.
