Set Up Crushed Ore Smelting in Your Smeltery

Prepare Your Smeltery

Crushed ores from Create's crushing wheels can now be melted directly in Tinkers' Construct smelteries, melters, and foundries. This bypasses the need to smelt raw ore blocks and gives you faster metal production.

Melt Crushed Ores

1. Set up a Create crushing wheel to process your raw ores into crushed ore

2. Transport the crushed ore into your smeltery using hoppers, chutes, or other Create conveyors

3. Heat your smeltery to the appropriate temperature (same as the raw ore would require)

4. The crushed ore will melt into molten metal, just like regular ore blocks

5. Cast the molten metal into ingots or tool parts as normal

Efficiency Gains

Crushed ore smelting is faster than block smelting and works in all Tinkers' smeltery variants. This creates a seamless pipeline: mine → crush → smelt → cast. Combine this with Create's item sorting and filtering systems to automate your entire metal production line.
