Using the Extra Advancements as a SkyBlock To-Do List

Beyond the reworked vanilla tabs, the mod adds its own advancements designed around island survival. These are the ones most players miss, because they do not appear until you scroll past the familiar categories.

Finding the Added Tabs

Open the Advancements screen and look for tabs that are not present in vanilla. They are grouped by theme — typically early island setup, resource generation, and mob farming. Each tab has its own root node; you must earn that root before its children become visible, so an apparently empty tab usually just means you have not triggered its first goal yet.

Turning Them Into a Plan

  • Read every root node first and note what it wants. Roots are deliberately easy so you can start the branch immediately.
  • Treat each child node as a build order: if it asks for a farm, a generator, or a mob, that is your next project.
  • Do not chase several branches at once early on; the resource demands overlap and you will stall.
  • Revisit the screen after every major build, since some nodes only appear once a prerequisite block exists in the world.

Used this way, the added advancements replace the missing overworld exploration of a normal world with a steady stream of concrete objectives.
